EOP Assessment Project

 

  1. Implement the 4-Year Plan to Phase in Assessments.  Plan to include:
  1. programs to assess each year and recommended assessment (s)
  2. priority for assessments is to be third-party certifications
  3. determining future source of funding for the assessments and Technical Certificates
  4. updating CTE administrators and others
  5. data collection (including # of concentrators, completers and pass rates), and sharing 
  6. professional development opportunities for teachers and administrators 

 

Assessments will be implemented in alignment with the release of completed Career Pathways.  Assessments tentatively scheduled to be Implemented include:

 

  • 2009-10 – Automotive, Construction, Drafting & Design, Architectural Drafting, Machine Tool, Administrative and Business Management, Finance, Management, Education, Early Childhood, Lodging, Travel & Tourism, Culinary

 

  • 2010-2011 – Information Technology, Nursing, Biotechnology, Health Science Occupations (excluding Dental and Pharmacy), Dental, Pharmacy, Law Enforcement, Security and Protective Services, Electronics, Welding, Advanced Manufacturing, Maintenance and Repair, Building Trades Maintenance, Masonry, Plumbing, Residential Wiring, HVAC, Electrician, Fire Science

 

  • Future- 2011 and beyond –Agriculture,  Consumer Services, Commercial Art, Printing, Commercial Photography, Visual Arts, Audio & Video Technology, Radio & TV,  Marketing & Sales,  Entrepreneurship, Bio-medical, Culinary,  Automotive Collision, Journalism and Broadcasting, Aircraft Operations, Family & Community Services, Cosmetology, Aviation, Diesel, Logistics
