Good News About CTE

January, 2016 - Southeastern Career Center

The Southeastern Career Center recently held a ribbon cutting ceremony and reception for their new Dynamometer Building.  The new facility houses a Dyno Test Cell and a Chassis Dyno system that will be used to fire and test the engines that the Diesel students take apart and rebuild as part of their curriculum.  It will be used by over 150 students per year.

The interior  of the building was completed by the Building Trades and Electrical Trades students, and the entire project was made possible by a partnership among Cummins Engine, Crum Trucking, Honda, Baylor Trucking, Lischkge Motors, Vehicle Service Group, Grote Industries, Hunter Engineering Company, Jefferson County Community Foundation, Dearborn County Community Foundation and EcO15.  These community partners worked together to secure over $210,000 in funding.

I am CTE.
